Today we began to draft our letter to the City of Chicago. We included stats about the cost of living in Chicago vs the salary of construction workers and expressed our other concerns. We still need to figure out how we are going to organize our presentation as well as finish our annotated bibiolography.
We began implementing the solution to the low wages that construction workers received and started drafting a letter to Mayor Emanuel about the problem. However, we still don't know where the money might come from to pay construction workers.
Today I continued my research on what companies would be the best for providing jobs to people with lower education. I also researched which of those companies are also based in Chicago, so that it would be easier to convince them. Despite what i have discovered, I still need a concrete answer as to which company would be the best in terms of salary, education requirements, and total jobs that they can provide in total.
Today I started to put information in a prezi and plan out what I'm going to put on my website. I also started to put together my annotated bibliography, and cut down on some sources I don't need. I still need to create my website that will spread accurate information about the feminist movement, and organize my bibliography.
I worked on my powerpoint and started cutting down on sources that I didn't actually use. I found more information on Latino stereotypes and how they're perpetuated through movies. I still need to clean up my letter and finish up the ending.

Last class I continued writing out my argument about guns and socioeconomic inequality. This will later be incorporated into a Powerpoint to present to the class and potentially become part of my solution. I also looked into a couple of gun control advocacy groups, like the Illinois Coalition Against Handgun Violence, that I may reach out to for my solution.
I organized my notes and began to work on a bibliography. I still have to layout the narration for the documentary and find video clips to use.
